Orlando | Front End Developer

Our client provides marketing and publishing solutions to businesses in various markets nationwide.

We are looking for Front End Developers who are passionate about usability, interaction, accessibility, and technology. They should excel at working with multidisciplinary teams to develop great user experiences for our client base. Web developers work with designers, software developers, project managers, product managers, and business owners to develop the next generation of our web-based products and services. They also help evaluate and continuously improve our existing systems.

Responsibilities

·         Translate wireframes and sketches into working prototypes to refine interface behaviors.

·         Build and maintain front-end libraries and frameworks.

·         Participate in user-centered research through client focus groups, interviews, usage analysis, and rapid prototyping.

·         Debug and troubleshoot layout and scripting issues across a variety of browsers including IE 7+, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

·         Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end code, ensuring design integrity.

 

 

Requirements

·         A bachelor`s degree in computer sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience.

·         Demonstrated strong front-end development skills especially concerning accessibility, extensibility, client-side computing, object-oriented design patterns, and object-oriented CSS.

·         Expert-level JavaScript programming and working knowledge of at least one popular JavaScript framework.

·         Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Ajax, as well as a basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.

·         Experience consuming services (XML, JSON, SOAP) using Ajax, as well as experience with Java technology stack and PHP will be highly considered. 

·         Self-motivated, ability to work independently and efficiently.

·         Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

·         Curiosity for learning new technologies and methods, as well as a desire to build great products.
